A series of workshops exploring and teaching textile based upcycling.

Join Ugandan sisters Anna and Lilly who will guide and support you to turn unloved fabric scraps into glorious gifts for you and your friends. In real time, they will guide you step by step, sharing top tips and easy hacks to make great objects that you will be proud of!

By the end of the session you’ll have a gift for yourself and a gift to share, spent time with new faces; all shared with a hint of our Uganglish-flavour.

This project will go live in early 2021. So keep checking our socials for when we announce the details.

UpCycle Your Life is headed up by Designer-Maker sisters Anna & Lilly. They bring you the best in Uganglish style UpCycled fashion, accessories and creative workshops.

You can find Anna and Lilly in their St Leonards studio, turning unwanted pieces into next season’s must have, combining their favourite things Uganda, Sustainability and the English seaside into their ranges.

When they’re not combing the streets of St Leonards for new projects they’re busy devising new workshops and events. From mono printing with schools to helping folks hone their own renegade sewing skills, always looking for ways to spread the creative love.

UpCycle Your Life is part of Pitch - a public call-out for funding proposals that took place in September 2020 for new creative projects in St Leonards.
